I realized that I haven't made any updates on The Last Burning Star recently, June was a slow month, but I'm putting more time into the animation again.

I crunched away last week and got nearly 30 seconds completed. I'm starting to realize just how bloated episode 1 will be. If this were to become a series, the ensuing episodes I have planned are significantly simpler, and likely shorter, but episode 1 has the largest amount of scenery due to a long montage in the beginning. I'm dreading the climax to this episode, because of a complicated character who will be difficult to animate.

Still, I'm hoping this episode will do a good job establishing the story. This is a very ambitious project for one guy to make, but I want to make the first couple of episodes before assessing if or how I'd like to continue the story. (I REALLY want to make episode 2...)
